FREEBIE EXCITEMENT!!!!!

Yes I am excited enough to warrant that many exclamation marks!
Yesterday our FREE RNLI water bottles arrived. I shall endeavour to post a picture of the wondrous bottle but I can tell you it's silver and blue with a weeny RNLI flag on it. I was expecting it to be a boring normal shaped sports bottle, but NO it is a fabulous running style water bottle with a proper hand grip and everything!
OK so we're not running for the freebies and I promise we didn't know about them when we signed up but it is soooo nice to get them and free stuff is always good especially when it's useful.
I'm liking owning proper runnery type stuff - makes me feel all fit and like I'm a real genuine runner. We have armbands for our phones (which are great and very handy cos you always know where your phone is), special hydration tablets in our drinks (zero calorie and fat of course as we are still fat fighting too) and I've even given over to running in proper lycra-ey leggings things which I'm sure help me go faster... erm... or maybe they don't but they make me feel like a runner which is surely a good thing.
Well not a lot of time to chat this morning as much to do but I wanted to share my water bottle excitement with you and so having achieved this purpose I shall bid you adieu.. or something like that. Running this evening so will let you know how it goes.

JustGiving running and wasp attacks

Today I ache - is there a form of WD40 you can get for your knees and hips? I remember my very first Barbie doll I had when I was but a young wee things - her legs used to pop off at the hip sockets. Is this my Karma for making Barbie suffer?!
So last night we ran our new 6.1 mile route and it was really tough. Not sure why it was harder than the first time we tried it but it felt like there was no air and I was running through treacle (which had I really been I could have eaten my way out and made it much easier!). It's good to know we can run that far with some pretty mean hill and not stopping. Our time is improving too. Last night we made it in 1hr 12mins which I'm amazed at as we've only been at this running thing for 2 weeks!
Tor did fab as she had headache and bad legs however, mental note to self to take the outside lane when she's not feeling herself as I became quite intimate with a few trees and a wall due to her balance! However Victoria DO NOT PUSH YOUR POORLY LEG! Also we were briefly accompanied by a very strange 13year old girl but she soon got bored and went on her way - guess that's what happens running round the streets of Northfield on a Sunday evening!
Have finally set up my JustGiving page and linked it to Facebook so that's another tick on the to do list! Hooray for small achievements but been procrastinating that one all week.
As for now - my work out is in the form of gardening which is much needed but I came in here to hide from wasps - they've descended and in my garden there's no way to hide. I'm sure if they get me I'll turn into some Jeff Goldblum/wasp/me hybrid and I want no part of it! Well once more into the breach...
